This study was commissioned by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to analyse the potential reduction resulting from the mandated energy efficiency regulations on EEDI and SEEMP as finalised at MEPC62 in July 2011 and also to estimate the projected reduction in CO2 emissions from international shipping for every year up to year 2050 resulting from these agreed measures, using a number of scenarios.
